Junk Bonanza Spring 2013

YES!  There will be a Spring Junk Bonanza in 2013!  Our annual sale that traditionally takes place in September will now open it's doors in the Spring as well. Details to follow very shortly!

Old Glory Antiques Fair in Colorado

I am a lucky girl! I get to travel to some of the best fleas and antique shows in the Country.  This month I made the trek to Denver Colorado to hang out and sign mags at Old Glory Antiques Fair produced by Holly Kuhn.  It is an amazing show with some of the best vendors in the Midwest.

Bagpipes announced the opening of the gates and attendees were excited to let the shopping begin!

My friend and magazine associate Cammie Metheny was kind enough to let me play in her booth putting on some of the final touches.  I do miss my junk retail days!

Traveling with a carry on bag sorta limits my purchases until I figured I could have Cammie ship a few things back to me.  Like this afghan below.  (I have a new found passion for all things crocheted.)

I can't decide what I what I enjoyed more, the cupcake truck, live music, Saturday luncheon with Jo Packham and guests, friendly vendors and staff...it was all marvelous!

One thing I do know is we all love Junk at Old Glory!  Can't wait to visit again!

Heading to Colorado!

Remember my Bucket List from the Fall/Winter issue of Flea Market Style? I listed Old Glory Antiques as one of my must see someday shops.  Well, I am heading their way on June 15 & 16.  Not only do I get to visit the shop, Old Glory is having their Annual Fair in Littleton Colorado that hosts more than 70 vendors!  I will be signing Flea Market Style magazines alongside my friend Jo Packham from Where Women Create and hanging out with a super fun group of folks amongst some amazing vintage decor and antiques.
 

Come eat, shop, listen to great music, and mingle with folks passionate about all things old and simply beautiful.  Don't miss the picnic lunch in the park on Saturday!  (Reservations required)  More info here
