I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. As I headed out to do my morning chores, I noticed how beautiful the moment was. I ran back in and grabbed my camera so I could bring you along.
Meet Sara and her daughter, Princess. Sara is old for a horse...over 25. She seems to have a quiet wisdom about her.
Princess and Sara are best friends...they never fight, and I know they share all their secrets with each other.
I cherish this time with my folks. Coffee on the porch every morning.

ReplyDeleteOh Ki...this was such a wonderful post! Thank you for taking us along. I want a donkey or nine now, myself! ~Mindy
ReplyDeleteWow am I jealous! I love morning coffee on the porch, still to cold in Minnesota for that. I will be heading to the Kalahari in WI Dells for a 4 days for spring break, maybe it'll be a little warmer over there. ;) Glad to see you're having so much fun!! Isn't great to spend time with parents? Krista
ReplyDeleteThose "chores" don't seem like work at all presented that way! Thanks for sharing your morning.
ReplyDeleteGosh I miss having a horse! And I kind of miss Ocala, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to start your day...absolutely perfect. I want horses and miniature donkeys one day.

I can feel your happy place just by looking at the pics. Enjoy your time with your parents, they won't be here forever.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday mornin' Ki. Love your morning chore shots...know what you mean about coffee on the porch. I'm out there most mornings, watching the ducks on the lake, and sometimes the sand hill cranes. It's my little peace of the morning that helps me start my day. Enjoy! *elaine*
