After careful thought, Matthew Mead and I agree the winner of the Ugliest Light Fixture in the World Contest is...
It was a difficult decision as there were so many great ideas...The ugly chrome tubed ceiling fixture made it to my workshop.
I removed the sockets inside the silver tubes and replaced with wood dowel rods. I measured, cut, and screwed the dowel rods to the fixture. I slipped the tubes over the dowel rods and secured with porcelain nobs. (I used hanger bolts to screw nobs into dowel rods.)
Letters are self adhesive page pebbles from Michael's Crafts.
A Powerful Pete medallion covers the whole in the center. (Since the back of the fixture was open, I added a 1" x 4" board for hanging.)
