I am well-acquainted with your Sandy! Her provenance is every Meijer's store--started as Meijer's Thrify Acres--in my spouse's homestate of Michigan. She is a must-do for my daughter on every trip to the grandparents.
ReplyDeleteLoved the article!
One of my most beloved items: a 3 ft handmade windmill won at the Shipshewana auction 15 years ago and always in pride of place in my family room. My most recent acquisition: a 1966 vintage camper!
Very inspiring post on Etsy. Loved it!! So far my best "find" has been a HUGE 1937 championship bowling trophy that I picked up in a box lot of items for $10.00. I just traded it for a mannequin that I am patiently waiting for.
ReplyDeleteIt was a really great article, I read it a couple of days ago -- great photos, great finds!!
ReplyDeleteOn another note- I didn't leave my info on my comment in the post below. I didn't want to leave another comment b/c I didn't want it to look like I was cheating by leaving two comments :) SO, if I am the lucky winner - angela@aubreyholman.com :)
These were really great information given by you.Must admit that you are one of the best bloggers I ever saw. Thanks for posting this informative article.

I love everything you do - the thrill of the hunt - the secret sources - the brain constantly thinking of new ideas for old junk!
ReplyDeleteYesterday my husband and I went to the junk yard and had a ball. My friends just don't get it.
They have no idea!
