If you know me, you know I have this obsession with oil paintings. Specifically portraits of men and women. I recently saw these two paintings at Melrose Trading Post, a great little weekly flea just down the street from my house. Which one do you think I brought home to hang with my collection?
Five bucks and it was mine! Her name is Bertha and she was painted by Mary Rex in 1958. Even though she looks a tad stern, I believe she was a fun gal!
Cheers,
Ki
I think Bertha found a great new home. I have a question for you...is that a childhood photo of you on the bicycle wheel photo display in the new Flea Market Style magazine? I see a resemblance!
ReplyDeleteThank you again for the opportunity to have one of my projects published in the current issue. It was a dream come true!
