My Mom.


I am having my folks over in the morning for mother's day breakfast. My mom loves raspberries. I just finished washing the last of the sweet berries. Somehow, a bowl of raspberries doesn't seem like a proper thank you for 55 years of endless love and support.

She'll be wearing her hot pink hat and will tell me she loves my scrambled egg dish, even though I know she doesn't care much for eggs these days.

I miss my kids, but feel incredibly blessed to be with my mom this mother's day. Enjoy the day!
