The Bonanza goes campy!

google images

The vintage trailer craze seems to be really catching on. I heard a rumor that some vintage trailer lovin' Bonanza shoppers will be pulling in to the Junk Bonanza with their own beauties. I can't wait to check them out for myself!

There will also be two vintage trailers for sale at the Junk Bonanza! That's right, FOR SALE!

First, this beautiful 1956 Airstream Caravanner Travel Trailer. It just so happens that 1956 was the first year the Caravanner model was manufactured - this trailer is #80 out of #100 built in Jackson Center, Ohio.

Look at this cutie! This 1966 Coachmen (Middy) was made in Middlebury, Indiana and measures 10' x 7'. Both trailers will be parked at the main entrance to the Junk Bonanza. Go to the Junk Bonanza activities page for more information!

As you can probably imagine, my life is a little wild right now. We are making final preparations for the Junk Bonanza, putting finishing touches on the Fall Ideas House at Bachman's and finalizing our shooting schedules and stories for the next Flea Market Style magazine......whew!
Loving every minute of it!

I have always dreamed of traveling the country with a vintage trailer and a long list of fleas to shop. Someday...

Cheers!

Ki

  3. The little old Trailers are super cute, my family has a 55 Rod and Reel & we hope to someday fix it & take camping, but for now I just use it as a place to take photos of my Reclaimed Barn Wood Signs - makes a great backdrop :)

  5. I have been bitten by the vintage camper bug too. I'd settle for a junked one for my tank garden as a potting shed though. I've seen some web sites with really incredible refurbed ones. I'm sure these will be a high light of the bonanza.

  10. Hi,
I'm a Vintage Trailer enthusist... In fact I have a "vintage trailer park" on our acreage.

I got into it about 8 years ago. I had never heard of anyone doing this. I just thought it was a fun way to create little vintage time capsules and a way to have a "Mom's" getaway place to read etc.

    Check out my blog... nancysvintagetrailers.blogspot.com

I'm thrilled so many people are loving them...

    Happy Trailers,
    Nancy

  11. Oh, The airstream has always been my Fav!
    I want that!!
The lower one looks like the same one that we have at our winter cabin. You've inspired me to paint over the tan colors!! Now to figure out what colors!! My husband will fall over thinking I have lost my marbles as the paint is perfectly good on it already.
    Thanks for sharing!

  16. I am redecorating our 2005 Airstream right now but, the newer trailers just don't have the charm of the older ones. I do love my trailer though. Have a great time at the show.
